charlie's angels = fashion heaven.
The day has finally come where I can boast that 70’s fashion is in full bloom. Though I wasn’t established until 1980, the previous decade’s feathered hair, bow-tie blouses, secretary dresses, bohemian bags, earthy baubles and high-waisted bell bottoms get the best of me. Images of Charlie’s Angels, Saturday Night Fever, Studio 54 and Dazed and Confused have always resonated with me, and I’d toss my every belonging in exchange for a vintage Halston gown. The Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 collection followed by the recent Gucci Fall 2011 show have thrown the grooviest of trends into the mainstream, and now it’s time for us to do the hustle. Start by investing in denim flares that will instantly balance your hips and pair them with an updated retro platform sandal. The marketplace is flooded with a bell for every bottom so take your pick and get your groove on.

Hear Hear! I would give away my entire coat closet for a vintage halston gown (and that is saying somethin’). I too feel I was born with the spirit of the 70s, my husband cringed when I feathered my hair a few years ago. Give me some roller skates, a disco jam, and one of these fab pairs you’ve posted and I am in my happy place. BTW, Wooderson (McConaughey) in his pink pants riding along side wouldn’t hurt either. L-I-V-I-N!

Since my hips don’t lie, and I am a child of the 70’s, I have always loved me some wide legs. Although I have a really hard time embracing the mom-jean high waist, I think I might have to go grab me some new denim. Danke meine Schwester.
okay it’s ten years later….and i hate skinny jeans and yoga pants in public. so can i still get away with wearing these wide and flared denim styles featured here? I really think my body looks best in those types of jeans.
