All Things Considered.

Is this an Estee Lauder 'Pleasures' ad?

I absolutely loved my wedding and it was the most perfect day. The only thing I wish I could do different is to have worn about 5 different outfits, obvs! Committing to one style of wedding dress can feel a lot harder than committing to one person when you’re style obsessed (thankfully my husband gets this about me)! Even though I totally nailed it that day, I still wish I could have looked more: boho, dramatic, high fashion, Valentino-esque, fun, eccentric and many other things depending on which moment you ask me. At the end of the day, I have to reign in my fashion neurosis and remember that what I was feeling at that time was all things classic. I wanted to flatter my waistline in elegant clean lines, and I stuck to my made up rule that all brides should wear their hair up (even though I didn’t want to!). I was inspired by great beauties of the 1950’s such as Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, and I felt everything should have a little Rat Pack melody instilled in its style. So was my wedding my greatest style accomplishment? Eh, maybe not. But it was definitely one of the best days of my life, and I can certainly live with that as my happily ever after.

So, apparently I love lace!
